Epson announces the EH-TW490

Building on the success of its best-selling home cinema projector, the EH-TW480, Epson announces the EH-TW490 – the next generation in its HD-Ready projector range. As well as offering all the features that made the previous model so popular, this 720p home cinema projector is the only model in its class to feature both vertical and horizontal correction of up to 30 degrees, and a three-year or 2,000-hour lamp warranty.

Thanks to keystone correction, users can easily align a straight image, regardless of the projector’s angle. Combined with its slim, lightweight design, this portable HD-Ready projector can be set up almost anywhere – perfect for playing video games, watching movies and cheering on sporting events in different rooms or even a friend’s house.

Thanks to an equally high White and Colour Light Output of 3,000 lumens and Epson’s 3LCD technology, users can watch bright content with vivid colours without having to sit in the dark. The contrast ratio of 12,000:1 also means that very dark, shadowy movie scenes or live action sport events appear much clearer and don’t look washed out.

This HD-Ready projector easily transforms video games, movies and sports into big-screen events with cinematic-quality images. With an easier set up and longer lamp warranty than other competitors, users can relax and concentrate on what’s happening on screen, rather than what’s happening with their projector.
