Antec PSU: VP350P, VP450P and VP550P

Now in its 25th year, Antec released its new VP additions to the Basiq power supply series VP350P, VP450P and VP550P models into the European market.

The Basiq series is an entry-level solution that will appeal to users with its reliable dual rail output system and best-in-class design. The VP350P, VP450P and VP550P expand upon the necessary PSU functions with Active Power Factor Correction (PFC), which yields higher efficiency levels and less power grid pollution. For those who seek a green approach to power, VP450P operates up to 82 percent efficient, and VP550P operates up to 85 percent efficient. In addition, these PSUs feature industrial grade protection circuitry that prevents damage caused by over current (OCP), over voltage (OVP), short circuits (SCP) and over power (OPP).

Antec latest VP PSUs are equipped with a silent 120mm fan to optimize cooling and reduce noise. All VP models are painted black to complement nearly any system and include an AQ2 Antec Quality 2 year limited warranty on parts and labor.

With attractive price points and Antec Quality design, the Antec Basiq VP series effectively delivers the desired output for home and office PCs. For the best value in an entry-level PSU, the Antec Basiq VP series is the best choice says Christoph Katzer, Director of the Power Supply division at Antec.

The Basiq VP series will be available through European major retailers, e-tailers and distributors in July, 2011 at following MSRPs:

Model      EUR

VP350P:   €45.00
VP450P:   €52.00
